The Contest

The Dayton Metro Library is looking for the best teen musicians around. A panel of music loving judges will choose the top four bands from all the entries. The top four bands will compete at Music Slam 2008, a part of RiverBlast held on May 24 at RiverScape in downtown Dayton. The winner will be chosen by audience applause, so bring your friends!

The Prizes

The Grand Prize is ten hours of free studio time at Cyberteknics Creative Recording Studio (thanks for the generous donation). Also, all four finalists will receive gift certificates to McCutcheon Music and an exclusive interview and video produced by Dayton Access Television. Plus, the top four get to perform on the stage at Music Slam, introducing your music to a big crowd.
